The talk is by Dr. Randy Pausch in 1997 and I wish I had seen it when I was a grad student.<\/p>\n

If you haven\u2019t run across Dr. Pausch<\/a> yet through email, or through the media or browsing Wikipedia<\/a> yet, you may want to get to know him through his lectures and his projects. He\u2019s helped a lot of people in his life, and by extension many more without realizing it was going to happen that way. He\u2019s someone to listen to, if only that he\u2019s naturally earnest and intelligent, and to paraphrase him in the Time Management talk, \u201cexperience is valuable\u201d.<\/p>\n
